LLC's: Are they required to file an annual registration?Annual Registrations
Section 8998 requires every restricted professional LLC in existence on December 31 of any year to file an annual registration by April 15th of the following year with the Department of State and pay an annual fee (which changes every year) for each licensed member residing in PA (always review the statute for all the particulars).
Section 8998(f) sets forth the lien provisions for failure to file and pay the above form/fees.
The above applies to Foreign and Domestic Professional LLC's. A similar provision applies to Registered LLP's (see section 8221, but the provisions for LLP's are somewhat different).
